Meet the women
of Your Birth.

Seven practitioners, one shared philosophy — that families deserve to feel deeply held.

Kristi Reed

Founder · Midwife & Birth Doula

Kristi’s passion for supporting families was born from her own journey into motherhood. Growing up, she always knew she wanted to be both a mother and a business owner, but it wasn’t until experiencing the transformative power of her own three births that she discovered her calling.

As a Certified Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, Childbirth Educator, Placenta Encapulator, and now a Midwife, Kristi is dedicated to helping women approach birth with confidence rather than fear. She believes every birth experience is unique and that having compassionate, knowledgeable support can make all the difference.

Through Your Birth Doulas, Kristi and her team provide personalized birth and postpartum support to families throughout Lancaster County and the surrounding areas. Understanding that the postpartum period can be both physically and emotionally demanding, they are committed to ensuring families receive the care, rest, and encouragement they need during this important transition.

Kristi is also a practicing midwife. Families interested in midwifery care can learn more about her separate practice.

Our values

Isabel

Birth & Postpartum Doula & Midwifery Assist

Hi! I’m Isabel, a certified DTI full-spectrum birth and postpartum doula living in Lancaster, PA. I developed a love for birth and postpartum during my time as a volunteer in Africa, where I assisted with many births and supported women through the postpartum period. Since returning to PA, I have continued to work with families as a birth and postpartum doula. I love supporting and caring for people, and I am passionate about the birthing experience. It is important to me that you feel seen, heard, and supported through your birth and postpartum journey. Every family is different, and I love that I get to offer support in many different ways depending on a family’s unique situation and needs. A little about me: I love to travel and have gotten to experience many different countries and cultures. I love children and have years of experience working with 0-5-year-olds. I try to spend as much time as I can outside and have enjoyed jobs working on flower farms and with animals.

Rebecca

Postpartum Doula
Hello, I’m Becca! As a Certified Birth Doula and Postpartum Doula, I am passionate about supporting families through one of life’s most transformative journeys. I am a wife, a mom, and a stepmom to our four wonderful children. My love for working with babies and families began long before becoming a doula, spending nearly 17 years in childcare. During a season of single motherhood, I was incredibly grateful to have my daughters with me each day, an experience that deepened my understanding of the importance of support, encouragement, and community for growing families. Today, I am honored to provide the birth and postpartum support that I once needed myself. In addition to my work as a doula, I am also a Trauma-Informed Life Coach, allowing me to offer compassionate emotional and mental support as families navigate the challenges and joys of welcoming a new baby. I believe every family deserves to feel seen, heard, and supported, and I look forward to walking alongside you during this special season, helping you feel empowered, confident, and cared for every step of the way.

As I continue my midwifery education, I am committed to learning, growing, and providing the highest level of care possible. It is truly a privilege to walk alongside families as they welcome their newest little ones into the world.

Dana

Postpartum Doula & Newborn Sleep Specialist

Hi! My name is Dana Shannon! I was born and raised in Lancaster County and currently reside in Leola with my husband and 2 sons. As long as I can remember, I’ve always loved babies! I started babysitting for neighbors when I was 12, was a nanny for triplets starting when I was 18, and I’ve babysat and nannied for countless other families since then. I’ve also more recently had the opportunity to help support and educate a number of friends and family members while they navigated the first few months with their newborns. I want to help moms understand that although it might be hard right now, they can and will get through it. The days are long, but the months and years fly by! I feel privileged to come alongside of you and your family in this transition. I am excited to meet you and help support you as a Postpartum Doula!
