Wrapped in care for the fourth trimester.

The moment a child is born, the mother is also born. She never existed before. The woman existed, but the mother never. A mother is something absolutely new” -OSHO

Your Birth Doulas recognizes the postpartum period, the weeks and months post-birth when you are rediscovering yourself, as a major part of Your Birth. The way we see it, pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period are three parts of one major life cycle.

01

Newborn support

Your doulas are Newborn Care Specialists with in-depth knowledge, trained in newborn and postpartum care. Soothing techniques, diapering, bathing, and helping you read your baby’s cues are just a few ways we can help. Every baby is different. We are here to help you know what is normal, and guide you through any challenges ahead.

02

Recovery support

As you are recovering from your labor and birth we are here to help you however your needs look. We are trained to help you recognize what is normal as your body recovers, and when to recognize when to seek further help. Every woman and family deserves support through these first days and weeks ahead. Postpartum is a time when most families don't get the proper help and support that is needed. We are here to help make sure your family isn't one of them!

03

Emotional support

A safe, non-judgmental ear ready to listen and give guidance, education and resources when needed. We are a team of women who understand the complexity of emotions and changes every woman faces. You deserve to be heard and have a safe place to voice however you are feeling. We are here to listen.

04

Feeding support

Comfortable latch, bottle pacing, pumping basics — without pressure! There can be lots of information coming from several sources in the beginning which gets overwhelming. We are here to keep it simple and help you navigate breastfeeding, the choice to bottle feed, when to start pumping and all of the challenges that you may be facing.

05

Light household help

We can help with dishes, laundry, meal preparation, and staying on top of the daily tasks so your home feels calm and you don't feel overwhelmed as you rest, recover and spend quality time with your newborn.

06

Overnight care

Restorative overnights so you can sleep while baby is lovingly cared for. Getting proper sleep is crucial for your recovery, building and maintaining your milk supply and having proper energy for the next day ahead. Overnight support is for your partner's ability to get good rest as well so that they can be there for you and your family.

Build a plan that fits

Choose from 4-hour day visits, full-day support, or overnight care. Most families book support across the first 6 -12 weeks — we’ll help you decide and build a plan that suits your family.
