Steady hands, all the way through.

Throughout your pregnancy to the moment your baby arrives, we’re by your side — at home, in the hospital, or wherever you choose to give birth.

Your Birth Doulas know birth. They have walked beside hundreds of women and their partners as they stepped into parenthood. They have studied the anatomy of birth, the physiology of birth, the signs and nuances of birth, and the emotions of women who navigate it.

They are not only prepared to support you through your birth, they are honored by the opportunity to do so. Upon contact with Your Birth Doulas, you will speak with Owner, Kristi Reed who will lead the conversation toward an exploration of your goals and desires. During this time, she will be actively listening and considering which doula from her team will suit you best.

01

Emotional support

A calm, reassuring presence so you can stay grounded in your body and decisions.

02

Physical comfort

Hands-on counter-pressure, position changes, breath work, rebozo techniques, along with educated guidance to know how to best navigate labor.

03

Birth planning

Helping you with personalized preferences, hospital bag prep, understanding best ways to communicate wants and needs to your provider, and making sure you receive proper informed consent along the way. Much of this is discussed at length if you choose to take our childbirth class!

04

Partner support

We guide your partner so they can be hands-on, confident, and connected. We aren't there to replace partner support, only to step in when needed and allow your partner to rest if needed so they are able to be the support you deserve.

05

Advocacy

Help interpreting information so you can make informed choices in real time.

06

Continuous labor support

Communication and guidance throughout early labor. Once active labor begins, we stay until your baby is in your arms.

What's included

One prenatal visit, unlimited text and email support, 24/7 on-call availability from week 37, continuous labor and birth support, and one in-home postpartum follow-up. Our support doesn’t end after you have delivered your baby. We encourage you to reach out with any questions, or concerns so we can give guidance and resources throughout this next phase of your motherhood journey and postpartum recovery
